"Lion of Prague" Pre-War CZ vz.24 Officer's Rig

Price:

950$

Discription:

Exceptional pre-war Czech Army CZ vz.24 pistol rig, manufactured during the golden age of First Republic Czechoslovakia before the German occupation of 1939. Adopted as the standard service sidearm of the Czechoslovak military, the vz.24 is widely regarded as one of the finest interwar European military pistols, renowned for its precision machining, innovative rotating-barrel action, and outstanding craftsmanship.
Produced by Česká Zbrojovka at Strakonice from 1925 through 1938, pre-war examples are distinguished by Czech military acceptance markings, the Czech Lion proof, and superior peacetime fit and finish. Original rigs accompanied by their military holsters represent some of the most desirable surviving examples, offering collectors an authentic snapshot of the Czechoslovak Army before the outbreak of World War II.
Chambered in 9mm Browning Short (.380 ACP) and utilizing the unique Josef Nickl rotating-barrel locking system, the vz.24 combined advanced engineering with elegant European styling. Following the German occupation, many surviving pistols were taken into German service as Pistole 24(t), making original pre-war Czech-marked rigs increasingly scarce and highly sought after by advanced collectors."
