"Shadow of Prague" Ultra Rare Czech MARS Vest Pocket Pistol

An elusive and highly collectible Czech MARS pocket pistol, manufactured by Kohout & Spol. of Kdyně, Czechoslovakia. The MARS represents the final evolution of the earlier Slavia pocket pistol series and was produced from the mid-1930s through the occupation period. Chambered in 6.35mm Browning (.25 ACP), these compact pistols were intended for discreet civilian carry, police use, and personal protection during one of Europe's most turbulent eras. Far scarcer than the better-known Czech Duo and CZ pocket pistols, the MARS is seldom encountered on today's collector market. Surviving examples are particularly prized by collectors of Czech firearms due to their limited production, distinctive markings, and association with prewar and occupation-era Czechoslovakia.
