"The Prague Eagle" – Nazi-Accepted CZ 27 Complete Rig
Price:
1050$
Discription:
An exceptional CZ Model 27 (Pistole Modell 27) wartime rig, manufactured at the Prague arsenal during the German occupation of Czechoslovakia and accepted into Wehrmacht service with the coveted WaA76 Waffenamt inspection marks. Elegant, reliable, and historically significant, the CZ 27 became one of the most successful occupation-produced sidearms of the Second World War, with hundreds of thousands issued to German military, police, and security forces.
This complete rig combines the pistol, original wartime holster, and correct magazine in a classic ensemble representative of German occupation production. Early examples often display the desirable high-polish blue finish, while later pistols reflect wartime simplification. Original Nazi-accepted examples are identified by the WaA76 acceptance marks applied by the German Army Weapons Agency.
The finest collector rigs retain matching numbers, sharp WaA76 proofs, original bakelite grips, and a properly marked holster bearing CZ and WaA76 markings. Holsters were commonly marked 'P.Mod.27' and often included a spare magazine pouch, creating one of the most attractive and historically complete occupation-era pistol rigs available to collectors.
