"The Vest Pocket Masterpiece" – Walther Model 9

Price:

950$

Discription:

Few pocket pistols capture the elegance of the Weimar era better than the diminutive Walther Model 9. Introduced in 1921, the Model 9 was the smallest pistol ever produced by Walther and remains one of the most compact centerfire semi-automatic pistols of its era. Chambered in 6.35mm Browning (.25 ACP), this ingenious design combined remarkable concealability with the precision workmanship that made Walther famous throughout the world.
Manufactured at Zella-Mehlis and produced from 1921 through World War II, the Model 9 became a favorite gentleman's vest-pocket pistol, prized for its sleek lines, striker-fired mechanism, and exceptional quality. Despite its tiny dimensions, the pistol exhibits the same attention to detail found on Walther's larger and more famous designs.
Early examples bearing Crown/N proofs and original matching components are increasingly difficult to locate. High-condition specimens have become especially sought after by advanced Walther collectors because they represent the beginning of Walther's rise as one of Germany's premier pistol manufacturers.
