Early Czech CZ vz.24 Complete Military Rig

Price:

1100$

Discription:

Exceptional early-production Czech Army CZ vz.24 pistol rig, manufactured during the First Republic era of Czechoslovakia and accompanied by its original military holster. Adopted as the standard sidearm of the Czechoslovak Army in the mid-1920s, the vz.24 is regarded as one of the finest interwar European military pistols, combining outstanding workmanship, innovative rotating-barrel lockwork, and exceptional reliability.
Early production examples are particularly desirable, often displaying 1925–1927 manufacture dates, Czech Lion military acceptance marks, unit markings, and the superior pre-war fit and finish for which Czech arms became famous. Complete rigs with original military holsters are increasingly difficult to locate and are highly sought after by collectors of interwar European military arms.
Following the German occupation of Czechoslovakia in 1939, many surviving CZ vz.24 pistols were absorbed into German service and issued to military and police units. As a result, original Czech Army rigs retaining their pre-war holsters and markings represent an important surviving link to the independent Czechoslovak armed forces of the 1920s and 1930s.
