RARE JANUARY of 1945 PRODUCTION WALTHER PP PISTOL POLICE EAGLE “F”, BLANK SLIDE, MATCHING, AC CODE WITH CORRECT “W” MAG!

This January 1945 Walther PP is an excellent example of the extremely late war pistols accepted for German police service, identified by the correct Eagle/F acceptance stamp on the left side of the frame. Manufactured during the final weeks before Walther production ceased, this pistol exhibits all the hallmark traits of 1945 output: matte, thin blue finish, minimal polishing, and coarser machining, all of which are correct for this period. Both frame and slide retain matching serial numbers, and the pistol remains mechanically sound with a clean bore and smooth cycling. Chambered in 7.65mm (.32 ACP), it features the standard PP configuration including the loaded chamber indicator and safety/decocker. Importantly, this example includes its proper late war “W” marked magazine, the correct style for January 1945 Police accepted PP pistols. These simplified wartime magazines—marked with a stamped “W” on the spine—are significantly scarcer than earlier Walther banner or numbered magazines and are essential for a fully correct late war configuration. The sharply struck Police Eagle/F acceptance, matching numbers, and correct “W” magazine make this pistol a standout example of the final phase of Walther PP production. Surviving specimens in original condition are uncommon, and complete examples like this are highly desirable for advanced Walther, WWII, and German Police collections.
