Soviet Russian TT-33 Tokarev – 1951 Korean War Bring-Back Rig

Discription:
Exceptional Soviet TT-33 Tokarev pistol manufactured in 1951 at the Tula Arsenal and subsequently brought home by a United States serviceman during the Korean War. Produced during the final years of Soviet military TT-33 production, 1951 examples exhibit the superior postwar machining, polished blue finish, and high-quality black bakelite grips that distinguish them from wartime production pistols. Soviet TT-33 pistols supplied to Communist forces during the Korean War saw extensive service with North Korean and Chinese units, making documented bring-back examples highly desirable among advanced military pistol collectors.
This complete rig consists of the original Soviet TT-33, all matching but magazines, military leather holster, cleaning rod with lanyard, spare magazine and typical for Korean issues erased manufacturing year. Unlike later imported Tokarevs modified with added safeties, authentic Korean War bring-back pistols retain their original military configuration and are increasingly difficult to locate. The absence of import marks and the presence of veteran provenance elevate these pistols into a significantly higher collector category.
As one of the most iconic Soviet military handguns of the Cold War era, the TT-33 represents the sidearm carried during some of the fiercest fighting of the Korean conflict. Complete bring-back rigs with documented provenance remain among the most sought-after Tokarev variants encountered on today's collector market.
