Ultra-Rare Walther P.38 ac 41 First Variation Rig with Matching Magazine

Price:

4500$

Discription:

Exceptional and highly sought-after Walther P.38 ac 41 First Variation Rig, manufactured at the famed Carl Walther factory in Zella-Mehlis during 1941, one of the most desirable years of wartime P.38 production. First-variation ac 41 pistols are instantly recognizable by their early high-polish commercial-quality finish, extensive Eagle/359 acceptance markings on major and minor components, and the distinctive 'ac' marking on the trigger guard web. These features place the pistol among the finest and most collectible military P.38 variants ever produced.
This outstanding rig consists of an all-matching ac 41 pistol, original matching-numbered magazine, and wartime military holster. Early 1941 production examples were manufactured before wartime expediency measures reduced polishing and finishing standards, resulting in a level of craftsmanship comparable to pre-war commercial firearms. Surviving complete rigs with matching magazines are increasingly scarce and command significant premiums among advanced P.38 collectors.
The pistol retains the classic Walther high-polish blue finish, Eagle/359 military acceptance proofs throughout, matching serialized slide, frame, barrel, and locking block, and correct wartime bakelite grips. As one of the premier early-war P.38 variations, the ac 41 First Variation occupies a special place in German military firearms collecting and represents the peak of Walther wartime craftsmanship.
